Moments of Gratitude::

632) Cool nights with the windows open

633) Morning swims

634) Reading on a lounge chair by the pool

635) Fish and chips (really, always Fish and Chips)

636) seeing friends for the firs time in a long time

637) Little girls in Tinkerbell outfits

638) good homilies

639) Batman movies!

640) Movie theater popcorn with salt. :)

641) salt, in general. It’s a great mineral.

Beauty in the Ordinary::

Sleeping with the windows open and the A/C off.

From the Kitchen::

Chicken milanese; salmon with teriyaki marinade; blueberry muffins (really the only way I like blueberries)

Praying::

For Jenny and Alex; for Lo, Jane and their parents

Pondering::

How to get household chores, more prayer, and things I like to do done in the free time I have. Getting up earlier (at least a lot earlier) not an option…

Reading::

A Farewell to Arms, The Life of Christ, The Outlander series (I’m on A Breath of Snow and Ashes), Fire Within (about Sts. Teresa of Avila and John of the Cross)

Web wandering::

This piece on Ramadan. Yes, I know we’re Catholic/Christian here, but this is really interesting.

Looking ahead::

BalletMet meeting tomorrow (I’m on the Young Professionals board. This season is going to be so great!), but not much else, aside from my best friend coming home for a visit this week. Yay.

(No picture this week bc the uploader is being silly. Grr.  But here’s one of St. Teresa of Avila for ya.)
